Rhinoplasty in Newport Beach, CA
Closed Piezo Preservation Rhinoplasty
Closed Piezo Preservation Rhinoplasty is an advanced surgical procedure that focuses on reshaping, remodeling, and preserving the natural anatomy and structure of the nose (without breaking the nasal bones), as well as performing the procedure without leaving any visible scars.
The Piezo device works with the sound waves to precisely reshape and cut nasal bones with a very fine tip that reduces post-op bruising and swelling.
With these techniques combined the downtime could be shorter and recovery will be faster.
Rhinoplasty is a combination of art, science, and surgical techniques. Although the surgical procedures are very intricate and complex, as a master sculptor, my artistic skills assist me in designing the final shape of the face in harmony with esthetic units and the other elements of the face.
Dr. Zarrabi is one of handful surgeons in the world who can perform Closed Piezo Preservation Rhinoplasty.

How Do I Prepare for a Rhinoplasty (Nose Job)?
A medical history along with a careful examination is conducted in order to evaluate your general health. We will discuss with you the way your nose can look in relation to your other facial features. Digital photographs and computer imaging allow Dr. Zarrabi to evaluate the appropriate procedure to achieve the desired results. Pre-operative instructions may include the elimination of certain drugs that contain aspirin in order to minimize the possibility of excess bleeding. Antibiotics may be prescribed before surgery to prevent infection.
Recovering From a Rhinoplasty (Nose Job)
The recovery takes one to two weeks. Most people resume their normal activities within a week or two. Following surgery, a lightweight splint is applied to maintain the new shape of the nose. The splint is removed within a week. Nasal splints may be inserted at the time of surgery to protect the septum. These are removed within a week. There is always some stuffiness of the nose, especially when work has been done on the nasal septum.
Pain is minimal and is controlled with medications. Bruising occurs around the eyes, but begins to fade within a few days. Discoloration usually disappears in two weeks.

Our Latest Patient Testimonial
I've spent three years researching and doing consultations with rhinoplasty surgeons, but none of them could guarantee that I would get good results (I have thick skin on my nose). From the consultation alone, I felt super confident getting my nose done with Dr. Zarrabi. He explained the longer timeline associated with the final results for thick skin, but reassured me that he would get me great results- AND HE DID!! I'm only 2.5 weeks post-op and I am so happy with my nose. I still have a long way to go when it comes to swelling, but even WITH the swelling, I feel super cute and confident with my new nose. I love the way Dr. Zarrabi talks about rhinoplasty being an art form. Each patient he works on has results tailored specifically to them and it's incredible the amount of detail that goes into how he plans the procedure for his patients. The staff are also super friendly and seem genuinely invested in your results. They were all super helpful leading up to the surgery and I love seeing them all during my check-up visits! If you're looking at getting your nose done I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Zarrabi! I'll definitely be going back to him in the future if I want any other facial cosmetic procedures done.
